Rhythm

Rhythm is a film following a short film “Falling Rain" inspired by life of migrated-northeastern born labours who cone to work in a sweet factory in Bangkok. Most of them are 18 to 22, low-educated, and have entirely different life compare with another group of people at the same age who was born and live in this city. This video is made from an interview with these young female labours, by letting them imagine themselves that they were a university student. Found out that their imaginations involve modernity, fashion, beauty and comfort, which may be a result from carelessly capitalism system, or may just be a reflection of the city. The visual composition and atmosphere of this film is deliberately created in dreamlike visual, and awkwardness of strangly misplaced objects.
